It's challenging to find a shop to work on a true classic. I did some research, talked to the owner and felt comfortable taking my '63 Chevy to Sherman's Auto Repair. They did exactly what I asked. There was no "job-creep". Kept the car clean and secure during the repair process. Delivered as promised. Problem corrected at a fair price.
Always takes care of exactly what is wrong, no bs, and does a quality job every time.
Best in town, great work for alot cheaper then most around. 3rd time getting it done at the last minute. Just incredible. Go!!

Sherman was taking care of my car when he was a one man show and that’s a reason I chose him. i will always choose the small business owner. i moved out of state for 2 years, just came back to Sarasota and got a couple of things stuck in my run flat tire! I called Sherman but it was the weekend so i went to Tire Kingdom, Brians and BJ's and they all told me it couldn’t be repaired and told me a new tire was $450. I kept putting air in and waited for Monday! Sherman called and i told him the situation and he says” I can repair it, they can to but want to sell a tire!”. Plugged it up in 10 minutes and saved me over $450! Thanks for being my go to guy Sherman and never disappointing!
They replaced the tierods and did a front end alignment, did a outstanding job. They were quick and did quality work. Great customer service and price was awesome. Firest one quoted me a price that was over double of what Sherman's did it for. He doesn't look for things to try and get more work. I will be using him again. Strongly recommending them!

Sherman's was great to work with. They were very knowledgeable about my AC system and were able to figure out my issue and get it back cooling again without replacing a bunch of parts that weren't broken. Price was more than fair.

Sherman's auto repair I found to be very skilled in diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle systems as well as providing preventative maintenance service to ensure optimal performance. Sherman's provided me with excellent customer service and cost effective parts and labor. Out of all the places I have been through the years I found them to be the most honest company I have ever been to.

I've used Sherman's in the past and there is a reason why I keep going back. I called, got a quote, and got my trucked fixed. The quote was a great price. My truck which another mechanic said would take 2 days (and was 3x the amount) to fix was done in 3 hours! I would 100% recommend you use Sherman's auto repair. Water pump failure verification and installed within two hours! I was referred to Sherman's by several people, couldn't be happier!
Sherman’s replaced my power steering rack and pinion on my Infiniti M37. Power steering pump also was determined to be defective, and it was also replaced. All work was performed expeditiously so that my could be returned to me quickly. Sherman was great to interact with throughout this process. My car’s steering is back to normal. I would definitely return to Sherman’s in the future.
About four years ago, my best recommended that I go to Sherman’s Auto repair because she had been going to him for a few years, and at that time my mechanic was just not doing a good job. Needless to say, I have been going to him ever since. He always does a great job and is very punctual, easy to set up appointments and correspond with. Elmer is great too! I have a truck (the first I’ve ever really driven or owned) and since I’m not the best at pulling in or backing out, he would always help and sometimes did it for me 😊. I would recommend Sherman’s to anyone who wants or NEEDS a reliable and trustworthy Auto Mechanic. Thank you Sherman and Elmer for always doing a great job!! 👍🏽If I could give 10 stars, I would!!

I had a warning light come on. I called Sherman and he told me to bring it in and he would take a look at it. He cleared the warning and told me to call if it came back on. I called and brought it in the next day. He fixed the same day at a very reasonable price. I’ve been coming to him for 4-5 years and highly recommend his shop. Excellent quality and backs his work.

Go to Sherman's Auto Repair! I love this shop. I love they are prepared and knowledgeable. They have a nice and updated system to administrate their customers data base, sent you estimates and program your appointments via text or email. Fixed my car in hours. And they are so respectfull and nice.
Sherman took care of a few codes my car threw. Even did some routine maintenance - all in a very quick time period. Neat, knowledgeable, and transparent. Doesn’t try to pressure any unnecessary services. Would recommend and use again!
Was able to schedule a brake and rotor change the day before. Dropped off the car around noon the next day, then emailed to add a synthetic oil change, and got my car back by 5. Great service, communication, and price. Landrover would have taken longer and charged more. Highly recommend!

Sherman was awesome!! Being new in town, we didn’t know who to go for an oil leak. He had great reviews, so we gave him a shot. So glad we did! Nice guy, did a great job and pricing was very fair…especially for these days. We will definitely use him again if we need to!
